Swim. Raise Money. Make Waves for Vortex.

Team Vortex's biggest fundraiser of the year!

Please add your swimmer's name as part of your donation!

Why Does Swim-A-Thon Matter?

Swim-A-Thon is Team Vortex's biggest fundraiser of the year, and our goal for 2026 is an ambitious $15,000!

Swim-A-Thon is an official USA Swimming event. A very small percentage of the funds raised goes back to USA Swimming, while the rest directly supports Team Vortex.

Fundraising through Swim-A-Thon helps us:

  • Keep team dues as low as possible
  • Update and replace equipment
  • Provide valuable resources and opportunities for our swimmers
  • Support programs such as our SwimStrong Dryland program

All of these things help make Team Vortex the amazing club that it is. Every swimmer, every lap, and every donation makes a difference.

HOW THE SWIM-A-THON WORKS

1

SWIM

Swimmers have two hours to swim as many lengths as they can, up to a maximum of 200 lengths.

2

RAISE $$

Swimmers ask friends, family, and supporters to contribute to their Swim-A-Thon effort.

3

GET PLEDGES

Donors can make either a flat donation or pledge a certain amount per length completed.

4

CELEBRATE

After the swimming is finished, we'll celebrate together with food, prizes, and a raffle for all participants.

Want to Pledge Per Length?

Donors can support a swimmer by pledging a specific amount for every length they complete.

For example:

If you pledge $0.25 per length and your swimmer completes 180 lengths:

180 × $0.25 = $45 donation

Per-length donations are made AFTER Swim-A-Thon is complete, once the swimmer's final number of lengths is known.
